NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 governs metallic materials for use in H₂S-containing (sour) oil & gas environments. It sets requirements to resist sulphide stress cracking (SSC), hydrogen-induced cracking (HIC) and stress-oriented HIC — through hardness limits (typically ≤ 22 HRC for carbon steel), approved grades, and mandatory testing.
AAM Steel supplies NACE MR0175-compliant carbon steel, CRA and clad pipe, fittings and flanges with hardness surveys, HIC reports and EN 10204 3.1 / 3.2 certification — for Qatar's and Saudi Arabia's sour-gas projects.
